Small round goldtone compact that holds dark red lipstick with a mirror in the lid. Front has a woman holding a flower painted on a shiny silvertone background with a frame of white with red stars and gold colored dots. The edge of the lid says “Hoboken, N.J. Made in U.S.A.” in block letters, “Old Spice Shulton” in script writing, and “Inc. Distributors” in block letters. Back is lined and has a blank rectangle in the center. Measures 1 1/8" across and is 3/8" deep. Really an unusual old lipstick holder.

Heavy scrolled design on rectangles make up this glove holder. The hinge is strong and tight and in good working condition. Glove holder hangs from a chain that opens up and can be attached to a belt loop or other garment. Measures 2" x ½". Really unusual.
Goldtone three dimensional brushed teddy bear with a hinged body that holds a perfume sachet. The sachet appears to never have been used. Bear is wearing a silvertone bow with clear rhinestones in it, most of which are dulled. The bear has 2 pink rhinestone eyes. The hinge is in good working condition. The teddy bear comes in the original box, however, there is no markings I could find on he bear or the box. Measures 1 1/2" tall.

Nice goldtone square compact with a metallic red enamel front with a goldonte clock on the front whose hands move. The inside of the top has a mirror that has some light spotting. The bottom has powder in it under a removable screen or “sifter”, with the original square powder puff that is marked “Rho-Jan Vanity”. The powder puff is in pretty bad shape. It has begun to disintegrate a bit and the top has come loose from the rest of the powder puff. The compact comes with the original paper insert that says “RHO-JAN Compacts - precious beauties of jewelers bronze - each compact is carefully made by skilled craftsmen of the best material obtainable - featured by leading department & drug stores everywhere”. The other side says “For new power puff or sifter write Rho-Jan Vanities, 31 S. Franklin Street, Chicago 6, Illinois, Enclose 20c for No. S900 powder puff, enclose 20c for No. S900 sifter”. The back has a few scuffed marks on it. Measures 3 ½" x 3 ½" x ½". The closure is in good working condition. This is a nice older Chicago compact.

Goldtone compact with a black leather looking lid with a goldtone hat, cane and gloves painted on the top of it. The inside holds the parts of a Gillette shaver that can be screwed together. The kit does not include the razor blades. The shaver is silvertone and is marked "GILLETTE" and "REG. U.S.", "PAT. OFF.", and "MARCAS REGS". The inside of the lid is a mirror. The catch is in good working condition. There are a few marks on the mirror and the bottom has a few surface scratches, but it is in good condition for its age. Measures 2 3/4" x 2 1/4".

Brushed silvertone tube with bright cut marks in it (not sure if they’re all supposed to be there or not). There is a goldtone band with flowers around the middle. The top is covered with clear rhinestones. The inside does not have lipstick, but the bottom of the inside is marked with patent numbers; however, they are so small I cannot read them. The bottom is marked “REVLON 587". Measures 3" long and 3/4" across the bottom.

Wonderful little perfume sachet put out by Avon in the shape of a piano. Top of the piano opens to reveal perfume sachet, which contains a hint of the scent that it once held. This is a very intricately designed piece and is really unusual. The inside of the lid is marked "AVON" with a copyright symbol. The goldtone metal is covered with swirled patterns and flowers on the sides. The legs of the piano are shaped like baskets. In very good condition. Measures 1" tall and 1 3/4" across at the piano keys. A really nice Avon collectible.

Wonderful old pink-goldtone glove holder with intricate floral designs on it. Chain has an unusual clasp that is in good working condition. The chain goes around a watch, purse handle, belt loop, etc. and secures your gloves in the claw shaped end. Holder is in it’s original plastic box and is marked “GloveHolder, 14K Gold Plated”.Claw measures 1 3/4".

Very unusual old compact with a black enamel top and bottom set with a small silvertone butterfly on a square raised center accented by 19 clear rhinestones, some of which are a bit dark. The enamel is scuffed a bit from use, but there are only 2 tiny spots (top right corner of raised square and also along edge). The inside of the compact contains a mirror in the lid. The bottom where the powder is contained is quite unique. The insert is marked "PAT PEND". By sliding the little nub down, it opens 3 holes in the center where the powder is stored underneath it. You simply shake some powder out and use what is needed. The little blue puff that comes with the compact is marked "M.M.R's" and is the perfect fit for the compact so I assume it is original. The bottom of the compact opens to add more powder in the storage area. This is really quite an ingenious little invention that more than likely lost its appeal once compressed powder entered the scene. There is a couple dark gray spots on the mirror and, as I said before, some overall scratches/scuffing due to use, but otherwise in nice condition. Measures 2 1/2" across and 3/8" deep. A really unusual compact.

This is an unusual item. It is a plastic square composed of large blue confetti glitter with a diamond shaped pattern of goldtone glitter crisscrossing it. The back is a mirror that has a hinged lipstick holder on it. The holder is empty and appears never to have been used. It hinges across the mirro and clicks into a little hook at the bottom. It almost looks like it was meant for display because it stands up so well.The metal is a bright goldtone and is in great condition. The front measures 2" square. The lipstick holder is approximately 2" long and 5/8" across the top.
Unusual goldtone tube with swirl design that looks like a lipstick tube but in actuality is a perfume atomizer made to carry in your purse. The top slides off and a sprayer is inside with perfume inside. The bottom of the tube is marked “U.S.A. Patent 2,162,756" “2,189,229" “DeVilbiss”. You can check out the first patent number at the United States Patents and Trademarks website and then by clicking the "Images" button. You will see that the pocket atomizer patent was applied for by Rome C. Seyforth on November 29, 1935 and approved June 20, 1939. Also, you can check out the second patent number at the United States Patents and Trademarkswebsite and then by clicking the "Images" button. You will see that this patent is a continuation of Seyforth’s original patent and was applied for by Rome C. Seyforth on June 20, 1939 and approved on February 6, 1940. Measures 2 1/4" tall. Sprayer is in good working condition. A simple design, yet very functional.
